The Mooresville Pioneers Varsity Baseball Team concluded their 5 games in 6 day stretch on Saturday morning with 5-2 road win over Covenant Christion, 5-2. With the win Mooresville improved their regular season record to 12-3 and sit at 7-3 in the Mid State Conference. Sophomore Kolten Wilson made hi Varsity Debut on the mound for the Pioneers on Saturday morning and did not disappoint. Wilson went three and two thirds innings, allowed 5 hits, 1 earned run, walked 3, and struck out 7 Warrior hitters to earn his first Varsity win. Kiernan Herald entered the game in the fourth and went the remainder of the game. Herald allowed 2 hits, 0 runs, walked 1, and struck out 2 to earn the save. The Pioneers are back in action on Tuesday May 13, 2025 and will travel to Plainfield to take on the Quakers, first pitch scheduled for 5:30pm. #mooresvillepioneersbaseball2025
