The Mooresville Pioneers C Team traveled to Columbus North High School Monday evening to take on the Columbus North Bulldogs. The Pioneers jumped out to a 10-1 after four innings and hung on to win their third consecutive ballgame, 11-8. With the win Mooresville improved to 5-4 on the regular season. Jamison Elliot got the start on the mound for the Pioneers, Elliot faced 27 hitters in 5 innings of work. Elliot allowed 4 hits, 1 earned run, walked 6, and struck out 5 to get the win. Gavin Wise entered the game in the sixth inning and faced 11 hitters in 2 innings. Wise gave up 3 hits, 2 earned runs, walked 2, and struck out 5 to earn the save. Mooresville collected 9 hits in the win lead by Ryder Bain with three doubles, scored 2 runs, and collected 2 RBI. #mooresvillepioneersbaseball2025
